It tells the story of three completely different families competing for the right to buy the same 1920s Spanish-style mansion, which they believe will solve all their problems. I was surprised to see the series receive such a low rating, but it became more understandable after seeing a bunch of reviews explaining how they didn’t get past the first episode.
I really like the cast and everyone’s performances
The show is a slow-paced detective story that may not be for everyone. Personally, I found it too funny and entertaining with a Liz Feldman tone that I like.
All the characters have their own subplots that form a tangled web of chaos that gradually, though not completely, unravels
At first, I wasn’t sure about Ray Romano because of my own prejudices (I couldn’t separate him from «Everybody Loves Raymond» for the rest of my life), but it went pretty quickly. By the last episode, I was pretty much engrossed in the story, despite figuring out the main plot very early on.
But I’m not upset about it
I’d love to see more of this show, and I really hope they get a second season. No need to waste time scrolling endlessly — here’s the full lineup of new movies and TV shows streaming on Netflix this month.
